Plan a Bake Sale in Your Area!
Share Our Strength is teaming up with the folks at the Food Network to promote a nationwide campaign, now through August 31st for a Great American Bake Sale in your area. Do you have an organization, church, or maybe a scout or youth group? Round them up to participate by organizing a bake sale in your community.
Find out more about hosting a bake sale in your area, call toll free (800) 761-4427 It’s a great way to teach our youth the value of volunteering. And you know there’s nothing quite like home made goodies!
Proceeds sent to Share Our Strength will help after-school meal programs for low-income children in your area and throughout the U.S. This is a national campaign which runs through the summer, until August 31. Check the national bake sale website here for more info!
