Not long ago I wrote about our last shaker (the epicenter was right next door in Chino Hills) in So Cal and what that experience felt like.  And for some reason I thought I was ready (at least to a degree), I was wrong.  We lost the power in my Brea, CA office building, it was dark and I couldn’t find a flashlight. The emergency radio was somewhere, but who knew where?  Our phones didn’t work without power and cell signals were lost. We were fortunate during  that one; we only lost a few small things here and there.

Here’s your opportunity to make a difference in your life and the lives of others. It’s the GREAT SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA SHAKE OUT ~ November 13th  & 14th, 2008.

At 10:00 a.m. on November 13 the largest earthquake preparedness drill will take place in So Cal.
