Here’s the scoop on Brea’s residential real estate homes sales report 2009:Brea downtown II-R

Single family homes:

  • 53 single family homes were for sale in Oct. The high for the year was 94 (six months ago) and a low of 50 last month.
  • 21 homes were pending (in escrow) for Oct., that’s down from the past few months.
  • 33 homes closed in Brea for the month of Oct. That was up for 20 and 23 for the prior two months.
    • The average days on the market for Oct. was 77 compared to 56 & 78 in prior two months.  

    Brea Condos:

    • Only 13 condos were for sale, compared to 10/10/14/16/14/6/12/9/13 in the past few months. 
    • 4 pending sales went into escrow, compared to 8 & 4 in previous two  months. 
    • 4 condos closed  escrow in Oct. compared to 7 & 3 past two months.  
    • Average closed condo prices was $328,000 for approximately 1,376 sq. ft. with an average marketing time of 52 days on the market.

    Brea is a City is well known for excellence in education. Our  schools have been definite attraction for residents in our coNH Tomp Pk-II-Rmmunity. We often say Brea enjoys some of the bigger city benefits, yet maintains a small town feeling. Many of us who live here feel we have the best of both worlds.
