Celebrate America’s Birthday around the southland!
This year July 4th comes on a Sunday and that means you could have two days to celebrate Independence Day more than once! That’s right, some cities are celebrating on Saturday the 3rd, while others (the purists) are celebrating July 4th. So take your pick around the south-land and show your pride for America!
July 3rd:
Brea’s Country Fair ~ City Hall Park, 401 S. Brea Blvd., Brea. Admission is FREE yet food, games & entertaiment is available at a variety of prices. 10:00-4:00.
La Mirada High School Fireworks Display~ 13520 Adelfa, La Mirada, 9:00 at the high school soccer field.
July 4th:
Diamond Bar Fireworks Display ~ Diamond Bar High School 21400 Pathfinder at Brea Canyon. Time 9:00 p.m. on the baseball field.
Fullerton H.S. is Fireworks Show & Festival ~ FREE admission. Food, entertainment, games & fireworks. Begins at 7:00 pm & fireworks at 9:00 pm. (714) 738-6545. Fullerton H.S. Berkely Ave./Lemon St., Fullerton.
Cypress Freedom Festival ~ The Navy’s leading event in honor of the contributions of our military and their families. What a great way to celebrate America and those who give so much, our military. 4:00pm ~ 10:00. Navy Golf Course 560 Orangwood Ave. Cypress. (714) 889-1576 for more info.
La Habra H.S. ~ Fireworks & Kid’s Zone Entertainment. Prices vary. 5:00 ~ 9:15pm. www.LaHabraCity.com
Yorba Linda Fireworks Display & Festival ~ Game booths, food, music & spectacular fireworks! FREE event! 5:00pm & fireworks at 9:00. Bring your lawn chairs, but PLEASE leave your pets at home!
